Materials & Colors

Brighart’s colourful modern paintings are rich in shades of red, orange and yellow.

Apart from acrylic paint she makes use of the new material Liquitex 'heavy body'. This thick paste allows a dynamic texture, attracting the attention to the canvas and the beauty of the paint.

Combine Painting is the use of unusual materials in a painting. This is present in Brighart’s recent work; for instance in her experiments making use of nylon umbrellas in pieces of art.

At the momement I am working with layers of transparent acryl-paint (Lascaux). Sometimes I am using glass beads.
